This page is dedicated to all
the men and women who gave their
lives in the name of peace, in all our wars
and the heartbroken families left behind.
They donned a uniform thinking, if the worst
came to the worst, they would protect our
country against an enemy, never realizing
sometimes, they would be the invaders!
They had no choice, it was their job.
It was our job to bury the dead, when those
first 10 coffins from Iraq, arrived home. As we
did in all the other wars to end wars.
There have been 2,655 coalition
deaths, 2,434 Americans,
two Australians, 111 Britons, 13
Bulgarians, three Danes,
two Dutch, two Estonians, one
Fijian, one Hungarian, 29 Italians,
one Kazakh, one Latvian, 17 Poles,
two Romanians, two Salvadoran, three Slovaks, 11
Spaniards, two Thai and 18 Ukrainians in the war
in Iraq as of May 14, 2006.
How many more will we mourn?
