Last night as I fell asleep,

I was thinking of you.

What a lovely way

To end my day!

This morning as I woke

My first thought was of you.

What a wonderful

Beginning to my day.

I pictured

Your smile-

And before I knew it

I'm smiling happily, too.

I thought of

Your voice-

And your teasing words

And soon I was blushing.

I thought of

Your infectious laugh-

And I began to giggle,

Remembering why you made me laugh.

I imagined

Your beautiful eyes-

Looking deeply into mine

And I longed to be close to you.

Whatever I do,

Where ever I go,

You are always with me,

In my heart and mind.

Thank you for making

My days so bright,

And my dreams

So special.
