We Need To Talk

Time has passed now

We know we need to talk

But we are avoiding it.

We MUST talk. Soon.

Problems will not go away

Just because we wish them to.

Ignoring each other will not

Make things better between us

Sometimes it is hard to stop

And listen. To understand.

To be able to express what

Is so deep within our hearts

Small misunderstandings

Become LARGE problems

Because we don't talk about them.

We don't honestly share what we feel.

Some problems can not be worked out

And then we have to decide what to do.

Others can be worked out, if we truly care

And can listen to how the other one feels

So PLEASE let us talk soon.

Let's try to work this out.

I am sending this to you

Because I CARE.

I want to work this through.

What we have shared is too great

Too valuable, Too wonderful,

To just cast it aside ... to end.

Without at least ... giving it our best!
